Our Services
Thrive in Motion offers accessible, culturally responsive wellness programming throughout the Greater Boston area, blending movement, dance, and evidence-informed stress management practices. Our work intentionally centers equity and inclusion, and we proudly welcome individuals from historically marginalized communities, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ communities.
All services are rooted in community collaboration, cultural humility, and respect, and are adapted to the needs of each group and space. We believe movement and wellness should be accessible, inclusive, and grounded in belonging—discrimination of any kind has no place in our spaces.
Programs are available in English, Spanish, and French and can be held in studios, community spaces, workplaces, outdoors, or virtually. Thrive in Motion is also available for local travel to surrounding communities.
Community Wellness Classes
Ongoing movement and wellness series that build connection over time.
Community Wellness Classes are offered as 6–8 week series, allowing participants to move together consistently, deepen conversations around wellbeing, and build supportive relationships within the group.
Each class blends joyful movement with guided reflection and group discussion, creating space for both physical activity and meaningful connection.

Why classes stand out:
Unlike one-time events, class series allow participants to build trust, explore wellness topics more deeply, and feel a stronger sense of belonging. Participant surveys help assess impact in areas such as stress levels, connection, inclusivity, and engagement in physical activity.
Ideal for:
Community organizations and libraries
Adult education programs
Wellness initiatives serving elders, immigrants, and caregivers
Groups seeking consistent, relationship-based programming
What to expect:
75–90 minute sessions
Warm-up, aerobic dance-based movement, and cool-down
Guided discussions on wellness topics such as stress management, resilience, mindfulness, goal-setting, and holistic wellbeing
Original, inclusive choreographies designed for each group and space
Optional use of props to encourage self-expression and engagement
No prior dance experience required

Wellness Workshops
Interactive, movement-centered workshops that introduce practical wellness tools.
Wellness Workshops are standalone or series-based offerings designed to educate and engage participants around holistic wellbeing, stress awareness, and the benefits of movement — all through an accessible, community-centered lens.
Workshops provide a broader overview of wellness concepts and are well suited for organizations looking to support participants or employees with meaningful, engaging programming.

Ideal for:
Workplace wellness programs
Community organizations and coalitions
Libraries and public programs
Wellness days and special initiatives
What to expect:
1.5–2 hour sessions
Guided movement and dance activities
Wellness education and group reflection
Opportunities for group exchange and shared learning
Participant workbook with key takeaways and ways to stay involved
Workshops are fully customized based on the group’s focus, such as women’s wellness, caregiver support, or general community wellbeing.
Private Wellness Events
Customized wellness experiences for gatherings, celebrations, and retreats.
Private Wellness Events are tailored to the specific goals, energy, and needs of each group. These experiences combine movement, dance, and wellness education in ways that feel supportive, joyful, and inclusive.
Participants are invited — but never required — to stay connected with the broader Thrive in Motion community through future classes, workshops, and events.

Ideal for:
Wellness retreats
Health fairs and festivals
Seasonal or community celebrations
Team-building and appreciation event
